The Allotment, our 2017 Festival play was performed at Drama Festivals at Lighthorne and Abingdon in June 2017 and will be reprised for our Season Preview in Autumn 2017. Other performance have also been arranged.

The Allotment was performed at the Lighthorne festival of one-act plays on Tuesday 6th June – lighthornefestival.org.uk and the ODN festival at the Unicorn Theatre in Abingdon on Friday 9th June – see Flyer. The cast were called back to perform at the gala night on Saturday 10th.

Banbury Cross Players received
1. The Colin Dexter Rose Bowl Award for a special moment in the play.
2.The Punter’s Prize for the best play as voted for by the audiences attending plays throughout the week.
